These blue and white signs assist residents in locating each of  the AER’s (Alternate Evacuation Routes) on Kelly Hill.

 

 

AER 1-The 8’ wide concrete path that goes through Lakeridge Park.

AER 2-Canyon Dr. off Valley View Dr. that will exit onto Canyon Terrace Dr. in the lower Five Canyons Development.

AER 3-The more familiar gate connecting Lori Way to Thurston court.

These AER’s will be available for emergency egress IF it is necessary to evacuate residents.   IF they are to be used, emergency personnel will be present to unlock/open any barriers. Please do not assume that they will be used unless you receive evacuation instructions directing you to one of them. You should familiarize yourself with the access points to these AER’s as part of your personal emergency planning.

THESE AER’s WILL ONLY BE OPENED IF EMERGENCY MANAGERS DEEM THEM NECESSARY IN A MANDATORY EVACUATION.
